The crazy student video was from my school. I was teaching right next doors when all the yelling started in the evolution class. I wanted to go over and see wtf was going on but the moment she yelled I'm gonna kill everyone, I locked the door and asked everyone to move away from the windows and the door. Crazy shit.

I have to show that math video to my class. No way that thing is real.

I use a sandisk extreme 45mb/s card with that camera. Can take 6 shots max in burst mode in case that matters before buffer is reached. I don't know of the new 95mb/s cards will offer an advantage with the possible extra 2 shots in burst mode. Might have use with video as well. Faster card might be able to clear the buffer faster but I don't know if the card is the bottleneck or the body. sorry haj No other doctor in the area you can go to? Surely someone in the area takes your insurance as well. My dad's tooth needed to come out after an accident on an oil tanker he was surveying. He didn't take care of it at the time and by the time he got back to the states, he needed to get it extracted. The regular guy was booked but mom found someone else in the area who was willing to see him on an emergency basis. Nice guy. Took out the tooth right then after doing some X-rays. Maybe it was an exception but it couldn't hurt to look (no pun intended ).

i already tried that one. doesn't work with pdfs or jpegs of scanned data sheets. gives me garbage in a text file.

I've been looking around but haven't been able to find any good freeware for mac. something cheap is ok. don't want to spend too much money. A lot of lab work requires collecting data and doing calculations with it. They don't let us save the data in usable files and we only receive print outs which make working with this stuff very annoying. So far I have been manually entering the data and using excel to do the necessary calculations so somewhat automate the process. It would save me a butt load of time if I could scan the data and have the numbers appear in a text file from where i could copy/paste them into excel. All the machines in the house are now apple laptops and the 10 year old sony is just serving as a print server. Can't handle anything else so looking for something that is mac native or at least compatible with it. Suggestions guys? Thanks.

It's direct airways. They don't answer the phone. Ever. The pilot who was supposed to fly us to ny said there might not even be a flight tomorrow. The scheduled flight at 7am is fully booked.

Great news. We were told the flight was going to be here at 9 pm. Announcement at 9:20 pm stated due to severe weather in ny (1 inch of rain according to every god damn fucking weather website) te flight was cancelled with no clue as to when the next flight will be. No refunds are given since weather was cited as a reason. This was supposed to be my last vacation in a very very long time - at least a year bc of upcoming mcat prep and applications and what not. She was looking forward to it so much (as was I) but its not fucking fair. Not fair at all. They just closed the counter and left. Do I have any leg to stand on in terms of a refund? I can't afford to pay for another flight that leaves tomorrow with another airline unless I can get a refund with this one. Are the airlines completely off the hook if they site weather as a reason for cancelling the flight? As Vicki said its hot as hell down here. An inch of rain up north. Now I'm fucking pissed.

update from the most annoying fucking place on earth. flight that was supposed to leave at 3 is now leaving at 9:45pm. this means we can't get a rental car in the airport so no trip to niagara falls on the lakes blaaaaaaaah. fucking fog.

Snow boots are not where I thought they were. Haven't used them since I left mass. Leaving in an hour with cold cold rain when we land tonight frozen toes will not be fun. Oh well. Off to foreign lands to see water fall from a high ledge.
