Thanks Mike, it was a great time until we tried to get home. The stupid marathon had so many streets shut down that we had to drive nearly an hour out of the way just to get out of the friggen city. Boston is a nightmare to navigate when everything is open, close a bunch of streets and I'm not sure we could have made it without GPS. This morning, woke up, went to breakfast with the wife, grocery shopping, now it's down to the woodshop to have a little fun. We don't pick Lily up till later in the afternoon. This day just feels weird.

Our seats are under cover so we should be ok regardless but all the same it's be nice if it was dry. Onto V&T #3.

Unlikely, I doubt there's enough there to turn it into a full time business. There's a reason that you don't see 100 operations like this. It's not because there aren't talented people to do it, it's a cut-throat, low-margin, compete with China electronics world. Ask yourself, would you still buy their kits and boards if the prices were 3 to 4x what they are now? Cause that's what it'd take to make it profitable enough to go full time.

Nice! Please share your thought. I've actually be using my Ipod Touch as a mini-kindle lately and I've been surprised at how well it works in that regard. Not sure I could ever justify the real thing at the current prices but it's still fun to dream.

Yes, but if that's at $100/sf (even roughly) it's a bargain. My house is assessed right around $200/sf.

Pfft, it's the better part of double that in my neck of the woods. Your average 1500sf house will run $250k+ (out in the sticks) and "in town" it's not uncommon (still) for 1200sf condos to be well into the 300s. It's also worth mentioning that while NH does not have an income tax our property taxes are pretty astronomical, I pay ~$20/$1000 on my house which is about average for the area.

I don't think either of the two reviews that I wrote made use of number scales and both were read by at least a few folks. Of course I think they both have bitten the dust now (can't find them on HF, both were in the "reviews" sub-forum that no longer exists) so I can't verify that but I figured it was worth mentioning.
