We've gotten around 4" so far today with a bit more predicted over night before it turns to ice and rain tomorrow. Should make for a giant mess of the morning commute. By Friday it's supposed to be in the low 50s. WTF?

I think you should carefully consider how disappointing it would be to tear it down, rebuild it, and then find the same problem still exists since you didn't bother to try to trace the source this time.

As the others have said, I'd try getting the xfmr out of that box entirely to see if it helps. If it does, welcome to the fun of a 2 box solution and the complications that go along with that.

Happy belated birthday, Mike!

We got about 4-6" of snow before it turned to sleet. It never got above freezing so everythign that fell was, well, frozen, but it made for a nasty day. Now it's decided to get colder and the wind has picked up.

No pics of the actual meal but made pork chili verde today during winter storm Harper. It was a good batch.

We're pretty much on the southern edge of the 10-18 range with the bonus of being near the coast with significant potential for ice after the snow stops tomorrow morning. In other news, the tractor shit the bed so I had to buy a walk-behind snowblower for now.

Aw crap, I'm really missing the boat on these in 2019. Happy Belated, Grahame! Here's to hoping it was a great day, filled with both some of the usual and perhaps a little of the unusual as well. Just for fun.

^^ Bummer. I had a partially stripped nut on one of the BMW's wheels that almost left me a bad spot when I was changing over the snow setup. I've since inspected all of the nuts to make sure they're in good order but ugh, if that happened on the side of the road I imagine my reaction would be not good.

Had to travel to Norfolk for work this week so got to visit one of my favorite restaurants - The Grilled Cheese Bistro. The special was the Super Reuben, which was impossible to turn down.

That's great news, Ken. Glad to hear you're back on the proverbial horse.
