Dan. I'm glad the fire got doused and I hope you took them for a princely sum. I just signed up for Flickr. The next bit of fun will be sorting, selecting and uploading the nearly 20gb of photos we took, over the next week or so.

Started back working after returning from the Galapagos.

Started packing for the flight to Ecuador tomorrow. Stupid 30lb limit on the Galapagos airline

Went to the work. Pointed out another problem that someone else caused with our code. Informed the client of said issues.... It's possible I will escape this hell..... but several things need to go right so the chances are slight. Fingers crossed. Anyway I'm going to the Galapagos on Friday so life can't be that bad on 999 I just hope this sore throat doesn't carry through to something more sinister. I can see the headlines: Galapagos tourist kills all animals with swine flu.

Printed off lost posters for our cat, filed lost cat with Home Again etc... We really hope she turns up. We're worried she's stuck somewhere outside. I'm still too hopeful to be totally bummed but my wife is rather upset.

Duggeh Congrats on getting into the PhD program. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did when I got mine. Essentially had a great time until the last two months which without fail suck because actually writing your thesis is a PITA. Pile higher and Deeper I spent the day "discussing" with a bunch of other PhDs about a US Navy research program.... fun fun

I was going to defend myself by my utter lack of knowledge about tubes but then I realized that made me deserve it even more :palm:

I use a powerline based system for my music laptop because the wireless card drivers suck and cause DPC latency problems so I wanted a wired connection. It works well in my opinion though as stated it could be faster.

Totally craptastic? or and actual guess: transformer coupled?
