  1. is it possible to say more "moronities" (ignorance is yet another whole thing) per square inch of blank page? There should be some award to that.
  2. It's pretty nice, though in Chrome it's screwing the twitter box which shows very funny indeed. It also seems to have a slight problem with the avatars, which aren't keeping their original proportion and show slightly narrowed down in height, so they look wider. Chrome problem or are you having these same issues?
  3. Thank you very much kids It was a nice Bday. We had to split the celebration for wife feeling a bit upset stomach at night, so dinner needed to be postponed. There will be more events on Saturday and Sunday, when a good part of the family who are out on vacation will return It's great having a "duty free" weekend on sight.
  4. Thanks guys. I told you wrong, the grapes aren't moscatel (though they taste quite similar) but Pedro Ximenez for the brandy. According to the manufacturer, only Pedro Ximenez grapes are used in their products. If you haven't ever tasted any Pedro Ximenez based wine (they're mostly sweet wines intended for dessert and digestive use, though they're not syrupy like moscatel) I recommend you Noe or more affordable and still very good, Harvey's
  5. After a great birthday meal which Sol lovingly prepared, drinking an awesome Ribera de Duero red wine, name Pago de Carraovejas: The one we've had is 2007 crianza, which despite not being reserva or gran reserva is an awesome-still-affordable wine. I'm having a post-meal brandy. It's a limited production (3000 bottles/year) one which is very peculiar for having moscatel grapes that give it its peculiar sweet (raisin) taste. This is one of my favorite cognac-like beverages
  6. Happy co-birthday I wish you a great one mate!!
  7. Portugal is a very nice country and their people are sweet and friendly. Moreover food and wine are awesome, and I mean "normal" wine, for Porto wine being a whole another category of awesomeness. That said, I can imagine how must be their administrative staff if they're some sort of a slowed down version of the Spanish one
  8. Thanks for the clarification. I can imagine most hobbyists aren't really buying those lenses like pretzels (or churros, as we say here), though it's interesting knowing the perfection and features of the lens. Really impressive.
  9. Jebus, that photography hobby can get damn expensive too.
  10. Finished listening from yesterday late night: Maria Joao & Grupo Cal Viva - Sol Now: Booker T. & The M.G.'s - Green Onions
  11. Yeah, it's a pity Jeff. Sell that damaged one to me for peanuts and get a new one. You deserve it
  12. Going for the second glass of this I have a weakness for limoncello. This one is among the best I know. Sweet enough, bitter enough, alcoholic enough
  13. Probably it's the same recording and the same music, but it's a different edition (probably the original released in 1980), way more expensive than the one available here or cdbaby
  14. That seems an interesting USB DAC. Keep us posted Birgir.
  15. Glad to know you're fine and covered Guillaume. Take care.
  16. I understand you very well. I've spent a good part of my life not understanding what they were singing. Most tunes were way more interesting when wrapped in ignorance.
  17. Only if you have system restore enabled, and for the system drive. Let's know how it goes, and also what W version you're using. It's possible you still can force a driver re-install. You'll need an older version of the nvidia drivers though. Depending on the Windows version your GPU could be wasting functionality if you go back to basic drivers.
  18. Listened to the whole thing. More of a melancholic and philosophical work than fun. Jueves is kind of progressive, where you notice the guy is a part of Mars Volta. It seems an album made for or by his girlfriend, who happens to be the singer Not bad at all, though not really my style.
  19. Checking it out at their Bandcamp page. They're supposed to be selling the FLAC version too, but Bandcamp is well known for delivering lossy files for lossless ones. Lunes isn't a fun tune so far.
  20. IMHO it could be the new drivers which it's possible you haven't completely removed. On W98 and XP I know how to force a driver install, but not sure it works on newer OS. Can you use a restoration point?
  21. It's more like "the science about the useless" though it might be interpreted as "the science by the useless". Pretty fun anyway.
  22. Not sure if you've already watched it. I did live almost 10 hours ago. So I'll refrain any comments.
  23. ^ The title is hilarious.
  24. WRONG!! The quality of your input has nothing to do with the money you've spent or the gear you've tried. It's more related to how you elaborate your thoughts (if any) and how they develop from your experience, wide or limited. Oh well, then there're those other things here... how do you call them... yeah, friendship and comradeship. You need to be here for a while to get it
