  1. PJ Harvey - 4-Track Demos
  2. Really terrible, I didn't expect she was this young and leaving a kid. My deepest condolences.
  3. It was until 2008, in 2007 they raced there IIRC. That interests me, they had there the MotoGP races last week. How is Austin circuit?
  4. Is F1 going next year to Austin and not to Indianapolis? In what fucking cave do I live? Anyway, it's very unlikely I can make it, but my father in law might
  5. Yep, something is possibly wrong, I've seen other waterfalls of the 701 showing more ringing around 5-6KHz with a decay in the 3-4 ms.
  6. Excellent news Brent, really good Sorry for your loss Ken. Surgery is always a serious matter, and I've never undergone it unless strictly necessary.
  7. Jimmy Scott - Heaven First disc on the "new" LCD-2, first listen of this album. Good on both accounts.
  8. Now you're talking, arnaud. For my old eyes and brains those look much more readable. Do you have graphs from the LCD-2 or any other orthos? I think it'd be utmost interesting having the waterfall plots of the LCD-2, HD800, 007, 009, Beyer T1, Ultrasone Ed10, and whatever Grado thinks is their top of the line nowadays, GS-1000, PS-1000, RS-1 or all three. The HP1000 look really good IMHO.
  9. Nice pics, better food and even better company. Who needs anything else!
  10. Parliament - The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein And now that it's over, to celebrate I'm finally and officially on vacation, Pink Floyd - Relics
  11. I have to agree, your plots are easier to read for me than arnaud's However I'd like to see more detail on the frequency grid, so we can know the exact frequencies where the resonances happen.
  12. Duke Jordan - Flight to Jordan And now Sonny Stitt and Paul Gonsalves - Salt and Pepper
  13. For this type of plots I like better graded tone one color than multicolor, which I find less intuitive to read. Perhaps colors can be chosen so they follow a gradation from one extreme to the other, so reading the intensity transitions is easier for dumb-old-school users like me. Other than that those graphs are great, arnaud. I'm willing to see the plots from the 009 and comparing them with the 007. I saw waterfalls of the 007 and it surprised me how resonant they seemed, which matches n3rdling comment. Maybe those measurements weren't properly made.
  14. Happy Birthday Tony!!!! I really wish you have a great one
  15. Trijntje Oosterhuis - Never Can Say Goodbye Tribute to Michael Jackson singing many of his tunes. Most of them just with a guitar and some feminine voices backing up. I got to like this girl since I listened her live album singing Stevie Wonder's songs.
  16. Great news Brent. I wish pain backs off and you can stop taking all those pills. Or not....
  17. Have you noticed that if the thing doesn't lose strength will get straight to Birgir?
  18. Looks like all you're safe, which is great. A friend of mine is in Montreal and first winds and rains were getting there a couple of hours ago. According to this it's over Connecticut right now.
  19. Great report. Stay safe mates.
  20. okidoki, following up there
  21. The Excel generated 3D plots are very clear and readable. Incredible job Arnaud, count with my sincere admiration It will be wonderful when Tyll ads those to his measurements sheets.
  22. Congrats Vicki, sounds like you're way more fit than you thought. Sacrifices usually pay their rent
  23. Marvin Gaye - I Heard It Through the Grapevine That was before, now The Jam - All Mod Cons
  24. Yep, new version, leather band. Deal was OK, considering I purchased them to a guy in Spain, so shipping is inexpensive and there are 0 custom fees involved. I should receive them by Wednesday or Thursday if payment clears as expected.
  25. Curiosity killed the cat Not even a month old, barely used for 120 hours.
