  1. Really good news Nate, glad for you
  2. It has a great deal of posting variations for a bot
  3. Sounds great. Pradaxa use has been approved in EU a couple of years ago, so it's not being used around here much yet, where the most used anticoagulant is Sintrom (acenocumarol, a warfarin-like drug). I had heard good comments about Pradaxa, yours adds to them, so I wish more patients start using it over here. You don't know how hard it's managing a severe epistaxis (nosebleed) on a patient taking anticoagulants I wish it goes well and you can stop using it. Glad for your recovery NWT. Quit smoking, is the best investment on your health you can make.
  4. Good sight, even highlighted I really can't say what are those, nor that they're atop a Stax amp
  5. Glad to know it went well and you're back to sinus rhythm. Are you on warfarin or the like? Take care and get perfect soon. Nate, best wishes for you too. Get well soon

    Meet Neko!

Nice dog Postie, looks smart and sympathetic. Congrats
  11. Today it's working really fast, not sure faster than before, but for sure than yesterday. Getting used to it, kinda like it. Oh, looks like the editing windows is way longer than it was on the previous software. This edit is almost 30 minutes later than the main message. Anyway, I miss posty blog posts
  12. It's fixed. I can't see the smileys into the messages though.
  13. Thanks for the hard work on changing the software. I don't like all the space the new "tasks" column on the right takes, reminds me of the ads at HF, and that the forums list is much larger so I need to scroll down way more to reach the lower forums. I don't see any of the forum tools icons. I mean the "user is online/offline", "PM user" "add reply" "start new topic", etc. None of them displays properly, nor any of the tools in this fast reply window. This software is much slower loading than VB in this computer, but looks like I'm the only one. Strange. I like that now the PM keep a threaded look, so you can re-read previous messages when replying.
  14. Broadcast - The Noise Made by People I knew yesterday night that the girl, Trish Keenan, died of complications of pneumonia
  15. Happy Birthday!!!
  16. Welcome to the world of Thin Film Technology and TFT Accoustics, the best earphones and earbuds in the world!
  17. Happy Birthday!!!!!
  18. Congratulations Birgir, that's fantastic, yet sorry for the extra work that will mean.
  19. Oh I see, so that Samsung or another manufacturer is producing those panels but only for Apple and not selling the same under their own brand. It could be, I don't know how frequent is that.
  20. Very true. It depends on how picky you're about quality and if you really need an Apple display. Maybe it's a good deal having the OEM display at 1/2 the price if you're getting 90% of the performance.
  21. Yeah, that's what we're discussing, the point is knowing if they still have that relationship, or is Apple sourcing their LCDs elsewhere
  22. Cool, go visit them, maybe they don't have a demo room other than for VIP customers, but who knows. It's also possible they have ex-demo or refurbished pairs at hand (this is supposed to be my evil laugh )
  23. They were set up in a mastering studio, full of excellent quality pro gear like Lavry DA-924 + LE3000. IIRC power amps were Bryston, but I'm not 100% sure. The model was the previous one using black mid-woofers. Not that I had the chance to play my music or pay any "critical listening" whatever that is, but could get a grasp on their character. Rather impressive I must say. Those things can play loud and doing it without distortion. Cristal clear sound, a bit in the cold analytical side of things, but that could be due to many other things, including the amps. I suppose they're a very good tool for mastering, mixing and any professional application, but not that sure they'll give "musical bliss" in the Harbeth, Spendor, Quad way.
  24. So my acquaintance wasn't misinformed. It'd be possible then, were that still true, finding a Samsung monitor with similar performance to Apple`s models for a way lower price. Eventually with worse QC. Are those monitors the very same the iMac sports?
