He's referring to the Headamp Gilmore Lite (now discontinued) or the GS-1. Those use the Dynalo circuit in SE. This same circuit in balanced, if I'm not wrong, is the Dynamid.
You can try to DIY, circuit and parts needed are still available. There's a Chinese manufacturer making a version on the cheap the Sheer Audio HA-006.
My suggestion: iTouch or iPod (I use ALAC but use whatever pleases you) --> LOD --> Pico Slim --> Audio Technica ESW10. Since these have been discontinued, ESW9 can be a nice second best option. This is what I use when on-call and leisure trips.
Also Craig and the rest of our Japanese mates. I wish they're all fine.

I just finished this little gem:
Ben Webster & Joe Zawinul - Soulmates
And now listening to this
Lou Reed - Berlin
Funnily enough I've just noticed one of the reasons I like Amanda Palmer
I hope you're right Jacob. I fear the companies involved in the plant aren't completely honest, so security measures aren't what they're supposed to be. They're scoring the hazard at 4/7 and I'm not sure how much scored Chernobyl on that scale
Glad you found it interesting, sorry for the raving, it's not very frequently that I can see my town used as background for that kind of pics. SFO, NY, Paris, Rome or London are way more photogenic
That city is Madrid, right the confluence of Gran Via with Alcalá. Behind the Schweppes ad there are very expensive hotel suites. They shoot there the film "The Day of the Beast" (el día de la bestia) by Alex de Laiglesia, who was one of the Oscar nominees this year.
The painter Antonio Lopez (rather respected, his works sell for high hundred thousand euros) captured that street (Gran Vía) in several of his works
