I'll second the PSB Imagine Mini. They sound very good, even without my Velodyne subwoofer. I'm using them in my bedroom 5.1 rig, but they still have wonderful imaging and transparency in 2 channel mode which is what I use for music. (I'm still using the crappy Velodyne Deco satellites for center and rear channel when needed)

How did you get pubic hair into the drivers?

I had a 500hp Subaru and kept blowing up special high power gear sets without every driving crazy like that (well, I did SCCA autocross in street mod, but that's tame vs what Ken is doing). I wonder how they make those race cars so strong.

I'll get nailed for this, but I thought my SS eXSTaA sounds very good with the SR-009, and it's a bit better than with the HE-60 or 007. They also sound pretty good with my ZDT > WEE transformer. Even better is my Woo WES mk1, but my luvdunhill built KGSS comes out on top with them. So, the SR-009/KGSS could be my only electrostatic headphone rig if it came down to that.

I'm praying that as long as the ear drum or ossicles didn't come out with the impression that this will end with a complete recovery. Still, I would go to urgent care, and then ENT if they refer you.

That's too bad about the speakers, and I'd worry it will be hard to find replacement parts. I have a pair of AV123 X-static tower speaker that I love to death, and know that Mark and his wife have vanished and even turned off the home phone number. Mine were a display set from RMAF one year and I don't have the grills, and I can't find the grills anywhere to complete them. One of my two AV123 Onyx Rocket 10" subs died as well. So I hope it all works out well for you.
