whoa! Hope it turns out to be nothing serious Salty.

Since the money was dumped over a 1/2 mile stretch of road some folks from the office talked about it. Guess they had officers and FBI out collecting the dough from the public.

A little excitement here this morning. Sitting at my desk and watch 13 police cars from different agencies with lights & sirens on speeding single file past our office. Turns out they were chasing bank robbers. Seems the robbers took money from a local bank and locked the employees in the vault. The robbers rode away from the bank on a bicycle. The money had a tracking device and it seems our brainiacs were using a Budget rental truck as the get away vehicle. Apparently money was tossed from the truck along with their disguises. Police eventually were successful in blowing two of the tires and arresting the men. Y'all may be used to this in New York, LA or Chicago, but we just don't have this kind of excitement round here.

Saw this recumbent on the 7.5 inch railroad yesterday.

Been looking at Vizsla breeders and decided on one. Litter coming up and put down my deposit. Just dropped off my 4 yr old grandson. Spent the morning at an open meet of enthusiasts. Two years ago they had laid 8 miles of track, now it's up to about 15 miles. The guy who took us for a ride was awesome. Entertaining and we traveled almost all the laid track. Tunnels, tunnels with a bend, trestles, chanrge tracks, landings. Grown up world of model railroading. He even let my grandson operate the train at the end.

Pain relief and an instant snack. I've heard of unusual pain remedies, but using a warm hard boiled egg is new to me. Hope this passes quickly and you get better soon.

I don't know. Never built from kit myself, but I had friends who did. If constantly fixing and correcting the designs counts as good electronic builds then they were great kits. If not, I'm afraid I never knew any one personally who wasn't constantly tweaking the Heathkit gear to get it to operate correctly. Final straw was an old boss who built Heathkit gear and never got it right. Thought he was an electronic genius. I'm not and probably wouldn't attempt a DIY project, but my skill set was much better than his ... and nothing he built ever worked correctly. Never knew anyone personally in the audio hobby who took the gear very seriously. YMMV.
