Do you always do what someone else tells you?

My old employer "had" to give a performance evaluation annually. In my case he normally skipped it and I would see a bump in my pay check. Current employer has performance evaluations for every employee every six months. The fall evaluation is soft and they tell you how well you're doing. The spring evaluation is hard and they concentrate on areas for improvement. Almost prefer the old employer's method

Congratulations Ian. Took my grandsons on their first Amtrack ride. The 3 yr old is nuts about trains and still can't believe he got to ride one Short 1 hr 20 minute ride. Then took in a carousel, painted farm animal replicas, off to a park to play and then on to their great grandmother's 87th birthday party.

Hoping all the fathers had a great day! My baby called this afternoon to say hi and my oldest just left with her family. My grandson just demonstrated why Wii remotes have wrist straps as he lost control and hit the window with the control. Fortunately no one got injured and no damage

Al, happy to hear your mom seems to be improving. 3 yrs ago my mother-in-law was in a nursing home for 3 months after she broke her hip and last year for a month after open heart surgery. It's a tough time for both family and Mom. Glad to hear she is improving and hoping she makes it back home.

Sitting in a place called Bounce. Grandsons running around climbing, sliding and jumping on inflatable jumbo sized toys having great fun. Thinking they will sleep on the way home.
