    Nope.
  2. Now THAT is a knob. Who made that?
  3. I don't blame you for making that inference because the one data point was pretty damn cool. I would have skewed it even further by pointing out that he had a massive collection of vinyl and reel-to-reel tapes and a Stax Earspeakers setup that he loved. Still, on balance, an asshole.
  4. Summer... Summer something... /martyfeldman
  5. @Dusty: Iggy's "The Idiot World Tour" featured Bowie on keyboards and backing vocals. @Grahame: interesting I guess, but moreso just selfish and unconcerned with parental propriety. He also took her to A Clockwork Orange when she was about 10. That didn't go as well.
  6. Claire's first concert -- her dad took her and it was his idea -- was Iggy Pop with David Bowie on keyboards and Blondie as the opener. She was 14.
  7. You don't speak for everyone here or have a perfect handle on what "this place" is or isn't about. You might want to take your own advice and show more discretion in your posts.
  8. The Marshal Store is on the shore of Tomales Bay and has a wood fired bbq for oysters, fish and meats. Nice big and fat Tomales Bay oysters are barbecued in the Shell and sauced in a variety of ways. Chorizo and chorizo butter is my favorite, but Rockefeller with spinach, cheese and bread crumbs was very close today. The bacon & worchestershire sauce was tasty but not quite as excellent. They also have smaller raw oysters on the half shell in the traditional manner but I didn't get any this time. They are all served with a couple chunks of grilled sourdough garlic bread. We went during MOA so many others got to enjoy these delights and can speak up.
  9. Earlier I had barbecued oysters (chorizo, Kilpatrick bacon and Rockefeller) and some of a tri-tip sandwich at the Marshal Store. Yum
  10. Those are scones! What kind of Brit are you?
  11. Got a Kabob-job at off the grid tonight
  12. This Tour is already pretty freakin epic with cross-winds, crashes, cobbles, and comebacks. Today's finish was awesome and inspiring, especially after the disaster yesterday. Very sorry to see Fabian Cancellara abandon with another broken vertebrae in his last Tour. Losing Simon Gerrans and Tom Demoulin were other bummers.

My sister had a very nice dog named Rosie so that is a good start. Too clever-clever to use a pairing with Watson? Sherlock might be too obvious and isn't very feminine, but what about Bell[e] as in Alexander Graham ("Come in here Watson, I want to see you ")?

  15. Listened to some stuff Jeff left for me because Brent cannot be trusted: Then I started listening to a bunch of other stuff and now I am listening to this gem: Continuing with the greatest rock and roll band in the world
  16. Holy shit
  17. What a start!
  18. That looks THICK. Just made up my mind to have some bacon and eggs for brunch.
  19. Happy birthday Biggie! Wish I had seen you recently but best of luck in your endeavors! Cheers!
  20. My review is different from the other people in attendance. They loved and raved about the swineapples. I thought it was only OK but it could be better with a better tasting sauce. I needed much bigger pineapples and better sauce on the pork would make a difference. Better shape management such as string or something. Plus, I've been spoiled recently with a couple of the best bbq performances evar.
  21. Who holds the conch?
  22. Colin would have to start slow-cooking his eggs now if he wants cream eggs and ham!
