RIP, Mr. Marshall, maker of good amps.

For a minute there I thought we had lost one of the Purple People Eaters! I was a big Minnesota Vikings fan growing up, and Jim Marshall was one of their famed 4 defensive linemen, along with Alan Page, Carl Eller and Gary Larson (not The Far Side guy).

RIP Jim.

What 'leccy guitarist hasn't lusted after a Marshall stack, or even a wall.

That Marshall stack pic is great! Seen a lot of shows in my years with equipment bearing that man's name. RIP.....

My brother in law plays a nice plexi.. I did some tube rolling with him.. very nice sound. .. bummer
