Serious tornadoes in the midwest!

I have an aunt who lives smack dab between the Shawnee tornado and the Carney tornado paths.  Unreal stuff.

 

Supposed to be really active tomorrow as well.

A county north of us received over 8" of rain fall in less than 24 hours period.  Flash flood and road washed out in several locations.  This is likely a 50 or 100 rain/flooding event.

Those images of the aftermath from the large Tornado that went through Oklahoma today look pretty bad.

That path was enormous. The destruction is on a massive scale. Hoping that the deaths remain low.

2-miles wide isn't it? That is way scary...hoping for the best for everyone in the effected areas.

It is not a good day to be from Moore, Oklahoma:

 

 

Multiple fatalities from an elementary school as well as others from around town (including a theater).  It was an EF-4 or 5.  Horrendous damage.

Awful, just awful.

Ugh.  Painful. 

 

Good thoughts their way...but I reckon they'll need a lot more help than that.
