Voltron
I saw this on a friend's FB page and I can't stop singing it in my head and I have played it many times in the last few days. The three part harmony, Rick Moranis' guitar solo, Eugene Levy's fake teeth and John Candy's wig and catch in his throat are all hilarious. These guys are so damn funny and SCTV was amazing. Decent! 3 2

Won't argue that, but will add that Etta James comes in 2nd place. Some of my favorite Billie recordings are those from later in her life. Her voice is diminished for sure, but you can hear and feel the pain even more.

robm321
BABYMETAK fascinates me. The lyrics are mind numbingly stupid, but the musicianship is technically brilliant.

They were the first (and maybe still one of the only) idol groups to perform with a live band rather than backing tracks. I think the Kami Band backing them is really tight, but what do you expect from professional Japanese session metal players? Obviously crass commercialism is a part of the genre, but they are a little less gross than their peers.

Hopstretch
Apple Music gave me a nudge today about an Eno EP reissue. Not sure what the deal is but this song is on it and it reminded me to listen to one of my favorite guitar solos ever another 20 times.

HiWire
Celtic Woman - Dúlamán "Dúlamán" (Irish for "channel wrack", a type of edible seaweed) is an Irish folk song. The lyrics of the song relate to the Irish practice of gathering seaweed, which has been done for various purposes, including as fertilizer, bathing, and food.
