September 22, 20169 yr Steak, eggs, water, coffee. Just the breakfast essentials ...Edit: Could have used two more eggs. Also, another steak.
September 22, 20169 yr I figured that breakfast essentials would include some fantabulous bottle of wine. For me, a burg. Mmm burg.
September 23, 20169 yr Popcorn by "Life by Dallas" "Garlic Overdose" flavored In other words, addictive as crack
September 24, 20169 yr Last night, lamb with gratin potatoes, a glass of har'el wine, and various seasonal fruit sorbets.
September 24, 20169 yr I've had squid literally minutes out of the Bering Sea, and I've determined I'm just not a fan of squid. Oddly enough I'm quite fond of octopus.
September 24, 20169 yr That more than squid (calamar) looks like "sepia" but I don't know the exact word to translate it into English. Sepia has a more delicate taste and softer flesh.
September 24, 20169 yr I think it's "cuttlefish" in English, Antonio. Order Sepiida, hence the colloquial sepia I guess?
September 24, 20169 yr In my experience, if things like squid, octopus and probably cuttlefish are rubbery, they have been overcooked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

September 25, 20169 yr Chang mai noodle at Siam Bistro -- my favourite thai food house is closed until mid October! So I went to another one that I haven't been to in a few months that I've been meaning to go to anyway. It was still delicious, but I ended up putting something from all four of the spice tray spices (fish oil, sambal oelek, crushed peppers and I don't know what the fourth one is, but I used it anyway - jalapeños suspended in vinegar?) and brought it up to a palatable level of heat.
