I bought this game a while ago and only last night had a chance to play it and it is fun. The single player that i've played feels like you're in a battle. Enemies are smart and take cover in a way that feels realistic your teams mates are on par with the enemies. I'm glad I spent the money and haven't ever tried the multiplayer yet. I'm going to get some friends over here this week and give it a try.

Game of the Year so far IMO.

Yup I would say CoD 4 or Bioshock for goty

we haven't even seen mass effect yet and there are already quite a few contenders for GOTY. Think about what a mess this would be if metal gear 4, deevil may cry 4 and GTA4 had not been delayed!

In terms of GotY, which magazine/site do people usually refer to? IGN, EGM, Gamespy, Gamespot, PC Gamer?

I think I'm officially done with the multiplayer, pretty much maxed out at Colonel II (Lv41).

Only thing left is the Barrett 50 Cal Sniper, and I didn't like it all that much. It looks and sounds cool, but it's just too innaccurate. Besides, I'm a total Shotgun Whore now with the M1014. Don't know why they made it full auto, since the real thing is semi-auto. But whatever, it's a great room clearing tool. I loooooove it when people camp out in a building now.

Now the Martydom Ass Grenades are just plain retarded.

Call of Duty 1 (single player campaign) had that same intense effect. I remember playing the demo and saying "holy shit"

Yeah, I have the Elite, but not all components are available in black. Namely the HD-DVD drive. So it's more of an Oreo 360 themed system for me now.

Although they do sell vinyl sticker kits to match the Elite's color.

Well, the Elite isn't really black, it's more like an 80% gray at best. But close enough for most, I guess, but if you have a true black component next to it, you'll see the difference for sure.

Finished up the single player campaign, and while it is a bit short it's damn intense. The flashback sniper level completely owns.

Oh and the bonus level it's pretty sweet too.
