naamanf
That's what the fur is for, to buff the ladies. In that case count me in. You'll need a fur drill mandril, however. Up for a new tool? I have a buffing pad for my air orbital sander what would work quite well me thinks.
pabbi1
Did you look at any other drivers? I am considering the Jordans ( http://documents.jordan-usa.com/JX92S_VTL.pdf ) mainly because I have a really small space (Marc can testify), well, that is available to speakers (for some reason the 500sf LR is off limits for speakers), but Pete used these and likes them a lot. I like the cabinet design a lot (well, after I mod out some of those corners on bottom). So, other than the 4" Fostex driver (F12, something or other), any other recommendations for small full range speakers? Oh, forgot: bastards! getting another project that I don't need at the moment - plywood bought, and plans laid out... pending drivers... Dreadhead
I must agree that's downright impressive
swt61
I hope further tweaking will tame the mids. Nice job! Man I had carpet that color once. I had to vacuum every day. Every little thing shows up. Looks great immediately after vacuuming though.

Both me and the wife actually don't like it and have been planning to replace it for a while but never get around to it.

naamanf
i bet weaving a carpet with your teeth would be hard, try that. Didn't work out so well...
Augsburger
Damn Naaman that is really impressive, both the Tahoe and the speakers. I can't wait to see the final outcome and if you keep them how you finish them.

luvdunhill
I'm also interested in the Super 6.5 steel. Has anyone else heard these? Any favorites in the 6.5" realm? Anyone remember the old Fostex coaxial drivers? I just located a pair of 167e which are no longer available and looking for something with similar parameters to compare with.
