July 15, 20232 yr Even Madrigal/Mark Levinson (like the No33 spec) have performance data generated by muppets. RMS Power - there is no such thing. Well you could in principle calculate RMS Power - but it is a meaningless number. The only meaningful audio power is Average Power. See for example https://www.analog.com/en/analog-dialogue/raqs/raq-issue-177.html
July 16, 20232 yr Mr. TV Size Queen here has got his speakers pushed too far into the corners. Also, I suspect that's not a good spot for the sub.

July 21, 20232 yr These Buchardt Audio Anniversary 10 are supposed to be amazing. The bass is said to be phenomenal. Very low without being boomy. They're active, bluetooth and have an internal DAC and streamer. Future-fi. When I first saw them, I thought the woofer was blown out. $4,000 ish. Different tuning can be had through the App. Edited July 22, 20232 yr by swt61 .
July 21, 20232 yr That's really neat, but I am suspect of any device that requires an app to make full use of its features. We're already seeing things from "smart" bulbs to door locks to ...musical Christmas lights that no longer work because the app that controlled them is no longer on the Android/iOS store. I'd not want to be the owner of two chunks of $4000 e-waste.
