December 28, 20223 yr This is one of those things that some people say that is jazz, or nu.jazz... whatever. I had to listen to it despite I didn't like their previous output, for it receiving accolades and making many "best of" lists. The Comet is Coming - Hyper-Dimensional Expansion Beam If you like Ornette Coleman and such you might enjoy it.

December 28, 20223 yr Vadim Neselovskyi - Odesa Another jazz album that made the top 2022 lists and that I hadn't listened to. To me a lot more enjoyable than TCIC's one. This one is not classic jazz by any means, it's rather lyrical and has very interesting moments. The pianist is virtuosoborderline.

I really appreciated the collection of pieces that I didn't know that well. Some I will explore a bit more. Good recording and performance.
