  2. Yeah, I'm a 40-50mm shooter generally. Rarely go tighter, except some portraits (75, 105mm). Have been attempting to go wider (24-35mm) more over the last six or so months. Again these are nothing special, but I'm trying to "see wide".
  3. ^^ still one of the great soundtracks. Edit: This should be in the movie section - but thought I would drop it here.

A Fake Angine De Poitrine Has Been Playing Live In Russia https://www.theprp.com/2026/06/08/news/a-fake-angine-de-poitrine-has-been-playing-live-in-russia-they-dont-even-say-its-not-a-real-band/
  8. Super nice colors. I am either using an 85mm or a 135mm almost always. Looking at some of the images, my mind immediately went to how far I'd need to walk to get the same perspective, if at all. Compression is nice but sometimes nice to be close and capture a wider fov.

  10. Pars Thanks for the link to RM. I’ve been registered there for a long time, but I didn’t know they were selling the 216. I bought the 216 and 79 on eBay in 2020. I was building a T2 in 2024. But the board didn’t work. Most likely, the 216 and 79 weren’t original. Replacing them with TA004 didn’t help. When RM sends me the old 216 and 79, I’ll try to get this model running again. Right now, I’m happy with the modified version. The boards are from KGSSHV Carbon, but I replaced the C2M1001700 with EL34 tubes.
  11. Kicked off the summer this weekend with the San Mateo County Fair. A few not terribly inspiring shots below. Leica SL2-S during the day with the softer Light Lens Lab 35mm f/1.4 Double Aspherical "11873" and during night the more modern Voigtlander 28mm f/2 Ultron.

  13. Also enjoyed Legends 👍🏻 I haven't looked to see if it is already in this thread, but we really enjoyed Kleo on Netflix. Funny and engaging and a fascinating place and time in Berlin before and after the Wall
  14. Legends (2026) - 1990's British customs agents enlisted for Thatcher's war on drugs. Quite good & engaging.
  15. Zoomer meme.

  20. Apple Intelligence, how about that?
  21. Initial viewing confirms I managed to NOT screw it up. Looks pretty cool.
  22. The amount of dog hair that must be in that condo is making my nose itch. Our second foraging expedition, which was meant to be a dog walk, was a bonanza. Including the One Spear to Rule Them All!
  23. Up in Maine, found out my next door neighbor went to the ER for a bad nosebleed. Visited her there, ended up keeping her company for almost 3 hours. Brought her home, then dog-watched these wonderful pups (2 Samoyeds and a 5-month old Golden - I THINK it's a blend with something else, l but not sure). At one point, she had 4 full-grown Samoyeds in her ~1100 sq ft condo!! She saw an ENT last night in Portland Maine and he helped a lot more than the local ER.....will find out today of the final prognosis & plan.
