I've got some Harbeth P3ESRs in a box under my desk and I don't really know what to do with them. Nudge nudge wink wink etc.

I was in Halifax 10 years ago when a huge blizzard hit. 3.5 feet of snow in 24 hours, with 65 mph sustained winds. After it was done, the skies turned blue and sunny, and there were 8-foot snowdrifts everywhere. The whole city was shut down, except for the bars, which were absolutely hopping due to the fact that everyone who didn't work there had the day off. It was an amazing time to be a backpacking tourist. Would have been horrible if I'd had a car.

Took a long lunch break today and went to the Clanwilliam General Store with my wife and four year-old (his older brother was in school). Clanwilliam has a population of probably 75 people on a good day, but somehow the general store has managed to survive since as far back as I can remember (it was built in the 1920s). Very limited groceries, hardware, and a post office, with a 2-table (grab a seat wherever you can find one) restaurant/coffee shop in the back. Once every two weeks a barber comes over from a neighbouring town and rents a chair in a back room. My kid likes getting his hair cut there more than TV, video games, and sugar combined.

How bout, you give me the info and I'll send the cheque in the mail ... Yeah the cables quite important, it gets caught under the wheels of my chair and I can't stop yanking that thing. (the cable I mean). I tried replug but it broke. Those 009's are nice, bit pricey though, hehe. And they seem nigh on impossible to get hold of in the UK anyway. Maybe one for father Christmas. That might work! What ? Get off my a$$, I'm really hoping it won't come to that! I prefer to order on-line to get the best deals. Intersting about the same specs sounding diffrent though, I wouldn't have expected that. Sennheiser will probably be the way forward, the brand was recommended to me by a friend a while back and also a dude on another forum just recommended Sennheiser HD429's which I like the look of and they have an emphasis toward bass performance as did the Panasonics I liked but can no longer get hold of. At £55 the price is ok. I've decided I'll probably plump for single side cable as well which they are. He also mentioned Fostex TH-7BB which seem to be an 'all-rounder' which would probably suit me. I appreciate the advice. More for father Christmas I guess. Lol, ok you at least get the prize for the funniest brush off.

Bought my plane tickets to France. Never been there before. Though I will visit Paris, most of my time will be spent in Bordeaux as I have friends there, so no hotel fees! I will obviously have to bring back some local wines... If anyone requires something special, let me know. Suggestions are also appreciated for stuff for me to try. I leave Feb 21st, return Wednesday before Hunahpuh weekend.
