Casers, I have long held a dream in my heart that we, as a team, could converge upon some of Europe's storied drinking locations. I'd love to stop by the Abbey in Westvleteren and grab a roadie, get tossed out of a dingy pub in London, or spend a week touring distilleries with you wonderful folks on Islay. I know it's tough to get away for enough time to make a European trip worth it, but I think it would be rewarding. Anyone else interested? Anything in the old world you're all excited to see for yourself?

recently returned a Tempurpedic Rhapsody Luxe (too hard for this side sleeper and too $$$) and bought a Brooklyn Mattress medium firmness for 1/5 the price. SO far I am loving the new mattress.

Ours had a ton of lint the first few washes. I wouldn't be too concerned. I believe the only warning I saw with regards to heat was that over drying could cause the protector to lose some body.

The Kilpsch X10 are great and very very comfortable. The first pair I had for a couple of years but sold them to a friend. I bought a second pair at some point and they were very poorly made (they cut in and out on both ears if you wiggled them). I read that a lot of the ones made at that time also had these problems. I would not but another pair unless I knew for sure that they fixed these problems.

Big cooking day today. First, I made and canned some sweet pickled green tomatoes in an attempt to read recreate my mother in law's recipe (that she'll never remember or make due to alzheimers). Then I made orange beef and broccoli with oyster sauce and rice for dinner.
