What is your bear doing with a bottle anyway?

Saw Loreena McKennit in a "Trio Performance" last night. Joined by Brian Hughes and Caroline Lavelle, she gave us two sets plus two encores. Both fascinating and beautiful, we heard stories of her travels and the history of Celts, poetry read, and of course beautiful music. Even a few jokes.... I have always enjoyed her full-band sound, her musicianship and arrangements are always fantastic. But this was more personal & passionate, I think I enjoyed it even more. All 3 played multiple instruments, and blended so well.... And Caroline Lavelle seems ageless; she is a very lovely woman with long blond locks perhaps to her waist, a great musical intensity, and a smile that would melt ice caps. And she was playing a very cool black Cello among her instruments.

I had seen that he was stepping down temporarily this season to get some medical treatment, but I didn't realize it was cancer or late stage cancer at that... watched a bunch of Wolves games on TV last year because I like to follow Andrew Wiggins, and he seemed to have a ton of respect from the players and everyone in the organization and around the league. But, short answer is... fuck cancer.

It's officially hardtop season, so in addition to cleaning a bunch of grit and grime off of it from storing it outside all summer, I got Thule tracks mounted on it, the Thule towers and bars I kept from the last Jeep and the ski box test fit for the upcoming ski season. Also did a bunch of yard work, trying to clean things up before weather really turns.
