Probably should round out Naaman's wish list:
  3. the opamp blows up at +/-40V would have to check the other parts, but +/-30V should absolutely work speaking of power... unbalanced/balanced/cast to balanced input block for all sorts of things, but mainly the uberamp, just need to find a way to get it into the box will probably involve splitting off the driver section. Uses GR power supply +/-30V for the front end and another GR power supply +/-40V to run the regulated output voltages to the output amp. If i add zeners to the servo amp, can easily go to +/-50V and as shown, its 100 watts of pure class A, and something north of 225 watts A/B front end NO feedback of any kind, .0025% thd at 20khz, 2nd harmonic. 3rd harmonic not measurable. output amps are current feedback. i think i have created a monster
  4. Currently waiting for my kids as they play in a "cat cafe" in Tokyo. :/

Here are several new knobs that were recently made for my stock, for use in various projects. Material: blue tiger-eye, labradorite, aventurine, agate. The aventurine one will be softly backlit as a pilot lamp. Opalized petrified wood knob under fabrication now....
  6. The design of this has absolutely nothing to do with me having Quad ESL57's and a new big living room...

I snagged a less elegant watch that I've been wanting for a while, an Omega 2503.33 white dial with blue hands. It arrives Friday. I had one reserved a year and a half ago, but it managed to get sold out from under me the day that I went to pick up it. That was the last of the NOS supply and the experience soured my taste for one, until this one popped up today and I jumped on it at a very good price. (photos attached of the one I bought on the seller's wrist, and of the one that got away on my arm). Nice.

Yeah, Pass is more about the engineering that goes into the design with a nod towards simplicity. That makes "value" a difficult concept Here are the intervals of the First Watt F7 as case in point.
  10. Thats probably what my $2k is going to pay for. A Project Cars rig for the Obama girls.
  11. Thanks for offering to help! I just confirmed with two GB participants of their orders and, 3 minutes ago, submitted our order to PCBNET

  18. ^^^ This! And fuck this shit, The Eagles were the only thing that got me through the disco years.
  19. I'm at work in a sweatshirt, jeans, and boots, am in management, and my mom was always impeccably dressed as an advertising executive. Also, I went to boarding school where I had to wear a coat and tie every day. It would have to be my dream job, or a 50% raise, to get me to wear a tie and polished shoes more than 3-4x a year.
  20. I'm at work as I type this, wearing jeans, sneakers, and a hoodie. I'm not an adult.
