I did manage to get the dirt bike going again. The temperature this week has been just ideal for the bike.

Well I killed my dirt bike this morning so out goes the UTV. Been a lot rain in the mountains on my side of the valley. I'll pull the power washer out after hitting the trails again tomorrow. Was really wishing I spent the few dollars to refill my tear-offs.

Cooking dinner. It has begun.

I made some modifications to my Megatron. Most of them are under the hood. changed the CCS tubes filament supply transformers from 25VA Antek AN 0206 to 50VA AS 0506 (one for each channel). Now the under-load filament voltage is at 6.15v. changed the transformer supplying the front end filament and current sink to 50VA Antek 0512 to accommodate the higher filament supply when using E80CC in place of the 12AU7 and drill some holes on the PSU chassis to help with cooling. added an LED indicator on the amp chassis which comes on when HV supply is on.

We have record breaking cold today! It's like a high of -20 lol - they cancelled my school and kids school today and TOMORROW preemptively with an announcement Tuesday afternoon - the last time we had cold like this was 5 years ago and not even then did they cancel two days of school ahead of time. Woke up today with the furnace working but blowing no heat had to restart pilot light, turn off and restart furnace, but was getting an error code that the intake/outtake pipes outside may be clogged. Fuck - bundled up and told the kids if I don;t get back inside within 10 minutes to send for help. intake into the furnace from outside was clogged with snow, so unclogged it and we are back in action. House has warmed up to 58 from the 50 it was this morning lol. Have the fireplace going and starting up the oven for lunch.
