  1. Super minor project from the East Coast crew. A friend/consultant is retiring who was a major part of the project that I'm currently responsible for. So I made him a small token of appreciation - a custom black walnut coaster.

  2. What thickness do you use for coasters? I need to make some for the outside tables and need them to be substantial enough not to cup, if possible. Also, finished the awful finishing process. I need to just spray everything. Brushing sucks.

  3. One of the few "avant-garde" albums that I enjoyed listening to. Medicine Singers The Powwow drums being the backbone during the whole album gave it a nice beefy rumble .

  4. The chair looks great! I don't think there is a thickness that won't warp, but using quartersawn wood of any thickness will help a lot.

  7. For the hell of it, knowing nothing about the show, wanted to see if I could find a review of Alaska Daily that didn’t mention Northern Exposure. Rolling Stone? TV Guide? LATimes? Hollywood Reporter? Chicago Sun-Times? C’mon guys, there must be one. I give up.

  8. I think your challenge here is that you are not going to get any of the "BBQ" flavor by only slow cooking the pulled pork in a instapot or crock pot. That's not to say that it might not be very tasty, the carnitas recipe that I use mostly cooks the pork in a slow cooker but still pan fries the pork at the end and for me, that makes all the difference. Still, when I want BBQ pork, that's what I want. If I were in your shoes I might try using the balsamic vinegar to make a BBQ sauce. that sounds yummy to me. Might be a start here - https://www.thereciperebel.com/honey-balsamic-pulled-pork/

  10. In general, we prefer to avoid spoon feeding newer members and encourage them to do their own research. At some point, Kevin added a 3rd bridge and the capability to use a single bridge with a CT transformer (like amb's sigma22). Obviously you don't use all 3 bridges at once. If you look at the popular post feature on the right side, above, you'll see some of the key posts in this thread. I'm not sure, but jamesmking may have done a version history of the GRLV at some point. I know he did for the GRHV. His July 27, 2021 post shown in the Popular Posts might be a good one to look at. Using the search bar and searching "largecap" will find some info, including a recommendation for what board version to use...
