Get new ones. I just got the filtered earplugs after getting the Roxanne’s last year and they said the Roxanne molds were good through 2019. Talk to Talent relations there as they should give you the Pro price and seem to speed up the process some. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Shelly, in eight-nine years your ear canals may have slightly changed, the anterior wall contacting the earpiece is the TMJ which is continuously moving and could suffer degeneration and inflammation. There are other parts that can change due to bone growth, osteomas, etc. You wouldn't spend a lot having new impressions made and making sure that the new IEMs are the best fit possible, moreover if one of the old pieces is a bit too long already. Just my opinion2 points

Handily better than NCore 400 mono's I've tried in the same system before. In fact, it exceeded my expectations enough that I am ordering another one just like the one I assembled, before the big-name companies start selling their versions using this module and charge tons more $$$$ after the usual big-name reviews, etc...1 point

On high Z, the L2 has a Zout of something like 50 Ohms. The headphones have an impedance of 80 Ohms at 1KHz, but 300 Ohms at 50Hz. That means there is a voltage divider with the headphone Z and amp Z. So, if there is a 1V signal, at 1K about 38% (50/(50+80)) of that signal is lost to the amp's impedance, and the other 62% goes to the phones. So you are left with a 0.62V. At 50Hz, the amp is still 50 Ohms but the phones are 300 Ohms. That means they get 86% of the signal. That's nearly a 3dB boost at 50Hz. Hence too much bass.1 point

A mate of mine is a golf pro and a solid plus handicap and tested himself on a radar launch monitor hitting a dozen or so drives with and without his Submariner on. Wearing the watch cost him an average of just over 1 mph of club head speed, which translated to about 3.5 yards of carry. So there's that, too. Have my eye on a Lange chrono at the moment. More it it actually transpires.1 point
