does the sound cut in and out if you move the cable around? if it isn't a cable issue, it might be the filter, maybe try removing/changing that.

It's been tempting me, but no reviews/impressions yet and the introductory $1000 price only lasts till the end of the month. ugh.

Yeah, they do look very nice in person. I only got to spend a few minutes with them in the TTVJ room right after the unveiling and I'm not too familiar with the grado sound, so i'll pass on giving listening impressions.

There was so much to listen to at Canjam that I didn't get a chance to check this amp out. It looks great though, very unique look.
