Squeezebox Touch
I just gave the NAS function a test and it seems that the Touch automatically rescanned and added the new music to the db. Transfer speed over wireless was rather slow though at 700K-ish.

Squeezebox Touch
Ahhh, you're using the Touch as a USB drive NAS? I wasn't testing that usage at all during my testing. Deleting the .Squeezebox folder followed by re-inserting/rescanning worked just fine for resetting the database.

Still at "Removing existing database"

Squeezebox Touch
I just tried "wipe and rescan" on mine and it's taking quite a bit of time as well. Only have about 9gb of music on the drive at the moment so it'll be interesting to see how long it takes.

What did you do today?
For a dunked CF card toss it into a bag/bowl of rice and leave it in there for a couple of days to suck the moisture out before pulling the images off.

The Headcase Stax thread
Thanks for the offer, I'll give them a try when/if I have a working setup. Have enough dynamic amps in my to-do list to last me a while first

Velcro One Wrap, Wire Wrap, Velcro straps, Velcro Tie Wraps is one source. You can also go with the non-Velcro branded ones for cheaper as well.

I just wanted to post that I found it funny how Logitech sent me a shipment notification after I had already received and opened the product. Timely for sure

What sensor did you use for HCFR?

Screen is always running at 120hz, the "camcorder effect" is due to the motion interpolation where the TV tries to fill in the missing frames. I normally save the full mode for nature documentaries.

Prototypers wanted
I was so eager to give the thing a listen that I didn't do the panels first. I guess next time I'll do them first

It seems like the RCA jack is tipped ever so slightly due to the spacing with the IEC. I was thinking of simply sanding down the plastic on the RCA jack but I'm not sure the screws would fit if I did.

You can turn off the camcorder effect or adjust the intensity by changing the "Auto Motion Plus" option in Picture Options.

Nothing from a standard cd is ever better than a cheap dac playing 24/96, remember that. But what about the cables? Won't the cheap 24/96 dac require "proper" audiophile cables to reveal the extra bits? [/now I'm just being bitter]
