  1. And maybe the strangest headphone coupling - the Lou Reed/Klipsch partnership. Who's next?
  2. Also work with a guy that had a Bell's Palsy strike. His brother too. Seems causes are not always understood, but treatments well known. Hope you're on your way to a full recovery.
  3. Gotta admit, the dude had great control... He was the best golfer the world has ever seen In 1994, Pyongyang media reported that Kim Jong-il shot an amazing 11 holes-in-one to achieve an unprecedented 38-under-par game on a regulation 18-hole golf course - on his first try at golf. Reports say each of his 17 bodyguards verified the record-breaking feat. He didn't defecate According to the official biography on the North Korean state web site, Kim Jong-il didn't defecate. The biography has since been taken down.

  15. There are few I've felt that for (though often over time don't), but never Cohen.
  16. Err... Archbishop John Onaiyekan and Ann Widdencombe. At the risk of pigeon-holing him as just a New Atheist, here's a particularly relavent vid... And not my favorite, but worth watching his Mother Teresa critique...
  17. The Atlantic Hitchens archive.

  19. In the last year a ton of videos have appeared from the past. Check out this Buckley v. Hitchens one looking back to the 60s. Really f*&kin' good (try to ignore host and his props). Also interesting to watch as he took the other side in more recent events (may even help clarify the reasons).
  20. Not unexpected, but damn. Piece from a week ago: http://t.co/qXYGDo7G Good slide-show of photos: http://www.vanityfair.com/culture/features/2011/12/christopher-hitchens-slideshow-201112

  22. I've since moved back to HD800s, but the LCD2s were strong enough to shift me away from the 4070s.
  23. Merida is probably my favorite small city in the world. Uxmal has great ruins (and of course Itza). So many ruins possibilities. This book was helpful: http://www.amazon.com/Archaeological-Guide-Mexicos-Yucatan-Peninsula/dp/0806125853/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1323844162&sr=1-1 Playa is a nice break from Cancun area. Stay away from ultra-touristy Cozumel. The upper-mid Yucatan outside Cancun is nothing like TJ. Safer than most of US in my book. Cancun is a resort area and like all resort areas open to theft. Comparatively safe though. Old photos: https://picasaweb.google.com/105779469515584875752/MeridaPlayaDelCarmen?authuser=0&feat=directlink
