1. It's also well-known that those tiny cables are worthelss compared to the virtual dynamics judge. (it appears Patrick82 is still unable to sell it, or rent it out. despite the hello-kitty blanket. maybe because it's got no proven effect either...)
2. I find it slightly microphonic unfortunately if I run my finger over it, or if it scratches something hard on my jacket. I suppose it's unavoidable unless one has soft fabric over it?
3. I have put an aftermarket cable on mine, made by TigzStudio (Norse Audio) who was with us here for a short while. As you can see, each electron is faced with a choice at the beginning of the cable, as it has four conductors for each side. This adds some bulk and inflexibility to the cable as well. But it is more flexible and comfortable than the stock cable, IMHO. And I like the look of it.
4. Water. because I have promised not to have a hangover of any kind tomorrow. (Not that I've had too much of the 8 anos bacardi rum of course. By the way, I am predicting that Rum is the next big thing after people getting tired of whiskey.)
5. I bought a hello-kitty necklace and a new cable for my LCD-2.
6. I had a meal at McDonalds with my kid. Can someone explain to me why their toys in the "happy meal" always are so incredibly boring? They must have that as a gimmick. Do they win a price or something when they come up with a toy that is even less fun to play with than what they had last week? This one was hardly fun even to take out of the bag.
7. My Apoptygma Berzerk playlist: Kathy's Song (Beborn Beton RMX) Kathy's Song (Ferry Corsten Remix) Kathy's Song (Single Version) Kathy's Song (Ferry Corsten's 12'' Remix) Kathy's Song (C64 Version) Kathy's Song (Victoria Mix By VNV Nation)
8. The vintage Pioneer Monitor 10 will fit like a glove. It's large, but I wouldn't say insanely large. Not like a Sennheiser H
9. Warm strong spiced wine to drink in the cold.
10. This is all bad news. Maybe I should to hire a human to take care of the floors instead. But I like robots. They don't complain and don't drink my whiskey.
11. I doubt it too.
12. I just bought a vintage tuner at the second hand store.
13. There were three feet in the package, so the potential for failure was there.
14. I liked the idea of fruit and vegetables better... but there is a bone-linke shape inside... could also be metal .... At least, the gold feet are functional.
15. This sounds great. But I also need to get my hands on that TRON soundtrack.
16. I've concluded that it's probably not edible, and that it appears to be some kind of constructed item inside. It's flat on top and on the bottom side, which is useful. I thought it would be safe to put it under my DAC. Clearly, my DAC is now elevated about 1 cm higher than it was previosly.
17. Strangely, the soft golden bags do not smell like fruit at all. There is something hard inside.
18. A set of gold feet from Coconut Audio. (slightly off-topic here since I got them for free)
19. The only other known piezoelectric driver headphones are the vintage lineup from Pioneer: Pioneer Piezoelectric Headphones - Wikiphonia
20. To enjoy music during the MRI, MR CONFON ( mr confon GmbH - Kommunikations- und Antischallsysteme fr die Kernspintomografie ) sells headphones expecially constructed to take advantage of the magnetic field created by the MRI. The Piezoelectric cans at least use an old and tested technology.
21. It would have been, if there had been any for sale in the US.
22. 4 units left. FOSTEX T50RP T50 RP PROFESSIONAL STUDIO HEADPHONES NEW bei eBay.de: Headphones, Headsets (endet 19.12.10 10:06:06 MEZ)
23. Speaking of cables for the LCD-2, good news from HF is that the "assistant" at Whiplash audio might now (perhaps) know how to wire the LCD-2 cable (after some trial and error).
24. Does anyone here have a fancy robot that goes around doing the boring dirty work, cleaning all the vacuum at home? I was thinking perhaps the Roomba could work... but I'm not sure if it's the Stax of vacuum cleaners, or if it's more like the Bose of floor sweeping robots. Do you have a robot floor sweeper at home? Is it good?
