It helps there are no camera shops nearby anymore and the local rental place I use (LensProToGo) doesn't carry it.

^ I agree it's a relatively heavy lens, but I think they attached a lead weight on yours - it outweighs Sigma 35 by only 160g. I tried it out a while back but I did not like it.

^ I've avoided trying one out for the fear I'd want to keep it. On a related note, I wish Sony hadn't shortened the zoom range on RX100 III.

Glad to see Rangers winning, but I do feel bad for Price.

It was fulfilled by, as when I ordered it, none of the usual suspects (Amazon, Adorama, B&H) had one in stock.

The best part was the same woman then proceeded to get herself in front of everyone (including the photographer for local paper) and onto the street to take photos with her phone.

Reminds me of the local 4th of July parade last year where one woman kept yelling at people to sit down/get back from the street so she can take pictures. Jacob, if it makes you feel any better, both myself and my wife have tried to take a cookie sheet out of an oven without any protection.

Nikon just brought back focus trap on D800/E via firmware update. Maybe they'll do the same for other bodies (doubtful).

^ I liked the idea until I saw the pricing - not worth it for my use/needs. Also, I doubt the thing would work with too many cases.
