The felt (and other backwave absorption materials) thread
That reminded me of the guy I knew at high school who was so hairy that a t-shirt didn't actually touch his chest or back. On topic - are there certain types or 'grades' of felt any of you found to work better than others for orthos?

What did you do today?
Got up and shoveled the driveway, then spent the rest of the morning waiting for Sears service folks to check on our fridge. They never showed up. Appearently, the warranty info for the fridge was never entered into their system when we bought it, so our service appointment (which we setup online) never actually went through. Been consuming flu meds all day with no discernible effects.

Fuck in snow
Much to my annoyance, found about 4 inches of snow on the driveway this morning (I had shoveled it last night after snow fall had tapered down). Just finished shoveling it about 10 minutes ago. I'm glad I'm off from work today, but shoveling snow with a start of what appears to be flu was not how I wanted to start today.

Ipod Touch / Iphone
Yep, it's a 2nd gen touch with firmware version 2.2. As JimP noted, it appears to be a fairly common occurrence amongst 2nd gen touch owners (who also uses ALAC).

Hi-end IEM's
It's a wreck with Safari and Camino as well.

Ipod Touch / Iphone
I checked the ALAC issue with my 2nd gen 32gb Touch and sure enough, it skips on ALAC playback. This happens regardless of whether I manually turn the screen off or let the auto-off feature turn it off. Bit annoying, but thankfully, it's non-issue for me as I convert all my music to AAC for the Touch.

Hi-end IEM's
For other customs, there are LiveWires, as Nate mentioned, and the FreQ. Though checking it now, the FreQ appears to be temporarily closed at the moment. IIRC, Zach/Grand Enigma has/had a pair of FreQ's.

Fuck in snow
I concur the sentiment - at least it's been mostly light snow thus far in the season.

The Orthodynamic Thread
I should have a pair of T50RP coming my way soon. I've been reading the thread in prepping for applying some mod and a question - are reflex dots simply circular sticker/paper adhesive you can buy from an office store?

DACing Off
Ditto what Nate said about ECD-1, though in my case, it was feeding upgraded GBR to PS-1 (and Stax SR-404/SRM-313).

Blind testing with speakers (general public)
I don't know how SMGa stack up against the current models, but there are pair (I think) on sale on Boston craiglist for $125. I would check them out myself if it weren't for my cats. magneplanar model SMGa flat loudspeakers 2

There's something wrong in Colorado...
Nate, if you go under specific model info on Singlepower site, the warranty info is listed on the bottom of each page. Incidentally, according to that info, Supra comes with 7-year parts and labor - probably because it'll actually take that long for a repair.

What did you do today?
Went to work on time instead of hour and half early as I did all last week. Administered the last of never-ending performance feedbacks for the month of December and left work on time. Just finished replacing the two light switches that had started to act up. 1 1/2?
