Went to work and worked on MCAS-Alt portfolio for one of my students for few hours. Just got home and found out that 1/3 of the work I did today and what I've done thus far for the said portfolio may not be needed anymore. Thank you DESE for the great timing, as always.

Oh right, MacFUSE. Install that first and NTFS driver should install just fine.

It gets installed on your Mac. It basically allows you to write on NTFS partitions/drives directly from OS X.

Ah, I keep thinking the exchange rate for dollar to euro is worse than it actually is. The (supposed) official release date is March 1st. I just checked TTVJ site, but there was no mention of it there yet.

My guess is probably around ~$3000, considering how much the current lineup costs outside of US.

Dollhouse

Some groceries, birthday gift for my mom, and a deposit for our wedding cake.

Technically yesterday, but went to work to find two of my students deathly ill, along with two of my teachers who are still under the weather. Hopefully, I won't get it this time around. After work, met up with a photographer and decided on using the guy for our wedding.

Just FYI, if you're going beyond certain length (5 m for USB2.0, IIRC), you'd want to get an extension cable with a repeater (or a hub with a repeater) so you have a better chance of it working.

x2 I use a 25 ft or so of Firewire (with a repeater) for my Duet. Probably will end up doing the same thing (with USB) if I do go ahead with the plan to get Justin's new USB DAC when it comes out.

I liked the first episode as well and I think it's got a lot of potential to be a really enjoyable show. Let's just hope that it doesn't pull a Firefly, or more precisely, Fox doesn't pull a Firefly on the show.
