While Marc does love his grease wrestling with skunks, I'd think that the missing wall would be much more of a problem due to reflections, or lack there of on one side of the room. To be more clear, he's planning on setting up a 2 channel speaker rig, that is if I get off my butt and the finish his speakers that I started two years ago. I'm moving this project to the head of the line, and it will have some very unique and very awesome attributes. That really goes without saying though, as nothing Marc does is run of the mill.

Unfortunately coming to grips with the fact that there really is very little you can do, is going to be the hardest for you Al. It's an extremely addictive drug, and you just can't make any decisions for someone who doesn't want to listen. I'm very close to this issue, as my Sister is addicted to meth as well. Her 5 year old sons death a few years back is now highly suspect to neglect, and the worst part is there isn't a fucking thing I can do about it. Letting go is a bitter pill I'm learning to swallow, but it's so tragic. Hopefully your friend will be one of the ones who reaches out for help, and has the strength needed to go the distance. I hope so for your sake alone Al.

The Darwin truly would be the perfect switcher for you Mike. Sorry for the fuzzy pic, but as you can see the balanced Darwin kit has 6 balanced inputs, two outputs and a loop out. Plenty of room for future expansion. Unfortunately mine is not going anywhere anytime in the foreseeable future. It may be worth your while to post at HF to see if anyone has a kit lying around, or even a finished unit. Slim chance maybe, but worth a quick inquiry.
