  1. Bryan of Zynsonix re-terminated two of my headphones to balanced 4-pin.
  2. Glad to hear your dad's surgery went well. The fact he is "... cursing out ..." is a very good sign he is doing GREAT!
  3. Sorry for your loss Al, my condolences to you and your loved ones.
  4. Hi Leonardo, if I may suggest try to find an older Marantz or Pioneer receiver from the 70's. Something along the line of a Marantz 2230 or 2275 as well as a Pioneer SX950 or SX1050. Then use the speaker tabs to power the K1000, I have done so with great results for very little money. This units can still be found (if you look long and hard) for under $100 USD, although lately they are going for a lot in eBay. Thankfully there are plenty of thrift stores and garage sales!

  9. Went out for a 1 mile walk, not much but better than sitting my "phat azz" all day long. Since it was before 8am the ocean was beautiful!

  13. Met for lunch with Carl at Tequila Sunrise for some mexican food and to try some gear. Had some work on my 70 Beetle as well. Overall a very nice day so far.

  15. Good luck to your husband and you Shelly.
  16. I have a Sennheiser RS170 which is the closed version of the RS180. Not noise canceling but wireless. If you would like to I can send them so you and your wife can try them for a couple of weeks. I actually like them quite a bit, just take your time and you should be able to pick them up at a substantial discount from the MSRP.
