  1. Open it up and take some close-up pics. That's about the only way we'll be able to know for sure what's driving the balanced outs.
  2. Doing just fine, the new server actually arrived and was installed on Friday. Still doing some of the initial configuration and then I'll schedule (and of course announce) a date/time when I'll move the site over. Should be very minimal downtime when it does happen.
  3. If Grado is smart the PS1000 will be as close to the PS-1's as possible.
  4. Indeed it does
  5. Really three potential ISP's that offer Wimax in your area? That honestly surprises me as it's still pretty new tech and not that widespread yet. I wouldn't bother with Satellite, it'd probably be more reliable than your dsl but not any faster, probably slower in fact. I'd just go ahead and get cable it's likely your best bet.

  7. Assuming it installed the plugin for firefox/opera then yes it should.
  8. GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!
  9. Nope they aren't at all, and if you run into any apps that happen to require the "certified" driver crap you can actually download the pro drivers and hack them very easily to run on the consumer cards. I'm with nate go with a quad core cpu and load it up ram.
  10. The only real difference between the consumer and pro level cards is driver support and "certification" for working with the various CAD/3D apps.
  11. packing pics removed
  12. I've started up this thread to give folks a place to offer their time/parts/labor whatever to help Icarium get his SP amp up and running and with a little luck maybe even sounding good. Hopefully this thread will to organize the effort that I'm sure has already begun via PM's. If your unaware of Dan's situation:
  13. It probably just does what a lot of other tube gear does which is mute the outputs till the warm-up time is over. Cool yes, but not exactly something special.

  17. They finally released a working firmware fix today. I've installed it on a bunch of drives at work today and they've all updated correctly.
  18. Yep like I mentioned above the time on the server was wrong for a few min. when it first came back up. Not sure the posts made during that time can be fixed.

  20. Yeah the time reset when the server came back up today. There was about 20 min of downtime today due to a dead power supply. It's fixed now.
  21. Almost forgot, for those of you with firefox that are having the problems what extensions/add-ons do you have installed and what anti-virus/firewall software do you have installed?
  22. There's currently no feature like that in vBulletin. Might be available as a mod or something though I'll check into it.
  23. One of the annoying things is that despite this firmware debacle it probably won't hurt their business all that much. They still sell a shitload of drives to OEM's who don't mind RMA'ing them continually. And in the enterprise market, until SSD's get cheaper the Seagate 15k rpm SAS drives are still king.
  24. Yeah thats a load of crap.
