I took about 17 hours to get through the entire thing. Its on games pass, so I played it that way.

What a deligtful game this is. I was smiling the entire time, including as the Raiders March played over the end credits. Raiders is my favorite action movie ever, so I am very much the target audience for this one.

Happy birthday, Ric! Hope you have some excellent films queue’d up!

Happy birthday, Ken!

Max’s car control and placement is insane. Leaves Dave for dead immediately because he is going all the way out to the edge of the kerbs and then some. To the surprise of no one.

Either those or RE-71-RSs seem like the play once I get a new set of wheels.

From my last autocross event. I’ve since modified my seating position to get lower in the car. I like being upright, but I had to adapt a bit to get more of a sports car position to get my head lower. I got smoked by all three Miata’s in this field, but they all had semi-slicks and I’m in street tires. This was the last event of the year so all the good drivers came out to compete. Much to improve in the 2025 autocross season!

Yeah, I doubt they are pleased with the GTD time. Barely beating the base GT3 was not the target, especially when they have over 300 more hp.

These Chinese EVs are insane. This seems like 80% of the Taycan for 1/3 the money. If this was on sale in the US for 40k I’d consider one. This is the car the Ford CEO was raving about after daily driving for 6 months, btw. https://chat.google.com/dm/-Aq33QAAAAE/u6uQd3cq_GY/u6uQd3cq_GY

My favorite driving road I've ever been on! Hope the car was up to the occaison!

Fun season. Next year feels wide open among the top 4. Very proud of my Alpine guys for fighting our way to 6th after starting in the dumps.

Happy birthday, Todd! Hope its a good one!

Arcane - Season 2 on Netflix. Fantastic second season. I’ll go out on a limb and say that any critic’s “best tv of the year” lists that don’t have this on it are mistaken. The production quality is amazing, and they must have spent an absolute fortune making the show. Great characters, great music, great art. Story got confusing towards the end but by that point I was swept up and happy to be on the ride. Highly recommended. I don’t play the game at all and throughly enjoyed this.

Ended the day with a ride in a Waymo (Robo taxi) for the full San Francisco experience. Absolutely insane. This is the future. For the first ten minutes it is a little nerve wrecking until you start to relax because it does such a good job.

15 mile post thanksgiving hike through SF with the boys!

Happy thanksgiving!

This is one of the better videos I have seen explaining the different tire categories and why you’d pick one over the other. I will be sharing this with my friends who still keep their sports cars on all-season grand touring tires to let them know what they are missing out on!

Happy birthday! Hope you have a good bottle ready to pour!

Dusting off iRacing after months off to start getting the rust off before a track weekend in January. Even in the sim i am scared shitless by the fast corners. I would say that matches reality well! Need to drill in to my monkey brain that high speed corners = no trail brake and keep the rear settled. Threw down a challenge to Br0nt to try and get within a second of my lap times.

For sure, but because it is a gaming console with tens of millions of units in the field manufacturer support will be first class. They also make nice streaming boxes for TVs without built in apps. Mine is basically a streaming boxes at this point as I do my gaming on PC.

The video game consoles (Xbox or PlayStation) both work great for the occasional movie on 4k blu ray.

Quite interesting to see the difference between road car and race car. A good portion of the time difference is the tires but certainly not all

If I buy a place next year that has a garage my first purchase will be another set of wheels. Mainly to put EP semi-slicks on for track duty, but it also means I can dump the summers for all-seasons on the first set of wheels if I need to.

I am finding out that driving a sports car with UHP summer tires to work on rainy mornings in the high 30s can wake you up real quick! Traction and ESC interventions work better than coffee. 🙃

Dune, by HBO. After the pilot episode I’m not sure I know what to make of this yet. I feel Iike I need to hear what Jeffy thinks!
