Ended the day with a ride in a Waymo (Robo taxi) for the full San Francisco experience. Absolutely insane. This is the future. For the first ten minutes it is a little nerve wrecking until you start to relax because it does such a good job.

Dusting off iRacing after months off to start getting the rust off before a track weekend in January. Even in the sim i am scared shitless by the fast corners. I would say that matches reality well! Need to drill in to my monkey brain that high speed corners = no trail brake and keep the rear settled. Threw down a challenge to Br0nt to try and get within a second of my lap times.

For sure, but because it is a gaming console with tens of millions of units in the field manufacturer support will be first class. They also make nice streaming boxes for TVs without built in apps. Mine is basically a streaming boxes at this point as I do my gaming on PC.

The video game consoles (Xbox or PlayStation) both work great for the occasional movie on 4k blu ray.

Quite interesting to see the difference between road car and race car. A good portion of the time difference is the tires but certainly not all

If I buy a place next year that has a garage my first purchase will be another set of wheels. Mainly to put EP semi-slicks on for track duty, but it also means I can dump the summers for all-seasons on the first set of wheels if I need to.

I am finding out that driving a sports car with UHP summer tires to work on rainy mornings in the high 30s can wake you up real quick! Traction and ESC interventions work better than coffee. 🙃
