The winged C SED EL34 are a much better sounding tube than the EHs. I like the EH 6CA7 alot too. Of the new production tubes I have tried these two are the ones i like the best. I rate them even and the EH 6ca7 are a little cheaper than the winged c.

Mikhail had the tubes in another small business area (like the original spot he worked out of) he had rented, a short drive from there. Thats where my wife saw them on one of here trips to Denver. Not sure where he keeps them now. Manley uses 5687/7044 in there preamps, amps and phonostage.

They were doing it in shifts. I got there by 10:00 and there were around 25-30 people in two rooms. I think they more scheduled for the later times, but not sure. Pretty sure they were trying to keep under 55 for the day or something like that due to parking (at private house) I like the Lower and upper model treble over the Essence. But nowadays I like warmer sounding speakers in general. Be even so, the package deals are very good.
