That's why I kept renting it, instead of buying it. But then I bought it, because I kept renting it. So, yeah, don't rent it or try it or look at it or anything, ever.

After contemplating renting it for the 5th (!) time, I did some research, saw that refurb prices have come way down, and finally pulled the trigger on the Sony RX1. I'll post some pix here "soon."

Just got the new edition of Codex Seraphinianus. I've perused the book before, but this is the first time I've spent some time with my own copy... It is wonderfully bizzare. Get one while it's still (back) in print, if you're into this kind of crazy. It truly is the ultimate coffee table book.

Finished "Gone Girl." That's some good shit.

They are, for lack of a better term, lacking a better term.

Turkey legs and thighs confit. In about 15 hours I'll put the breast in...

I'm convinced most fit problems are audiologist related and not manufacturing related (at least wrt JH Audio, anyway). I've had two sets of customs done with an experienced audiologist. One shot, one kill each time. No remolds, no adjustments, no special notes. It's all about the impressions. That said, if shipping was a kabillion dollars and took 6 weeks in each direction...no fucking way would I do it.
