For mine it's just a tiny bit of wiggle room. I'd say it's the tip part that moves, and you have to push it somewhat hard to move it.

I just figured out what you meant by your first post, and yes it does move. Not enough to scare me away from these, though.

My ideal power strip thing would be a Power Squid with individual switches for every socket leg. Does such a a thing exist? Also, any power strips/surge protectors of any type that you think are worthy of recommendation?

I have to agree with Jin here, it's pretty gimmicky and doesn't hold enough stuff. But then again I am looking for a wallet and not that thing.

The mini XLR thing locks in and isn't exactly the xbox detachable cord thing. But it is easier to replace.
