  3. Happy Birthday Pete!
  4. I use Kimber 8TC (long 25' runs) and I like it, provided you can find it for a reasonable price. I cant recall what I paid for mine (used), but it was sub $5/ft. I've also used 4TC and liked it, but wanted heavier guage. The sleeper, though hard to find, is the Kimber 4/8VS wire... same stuff, just not teflon insulated. I much prefer spades to either bare wire or bananas as well. Bare wire could lead to shorts over time if you're not careful. I've never used the Eichmanns, but they seem somewhat fragile.

    The Killing

^ Confirmed that AMC is killing The Killing, though I know in an interview that Joel Kinnaman (Holder) had stated that he would pay to make Season 3 himself... But we have Walking Dead oh joy
  6. Happy Birthday Todd!

  10. I agree on intent to be helpful. I would suggest to the newb that they read and digest their welcome PM. Necro-bumping threads seems to be a good way for a newb to invoke das banstick...
  11. Probably not. GR would be preferred because of the higher hFe (not sure why)? Note: hFE (1) classification O: 70~140, Y: 120~240, GR: 200~400 Not sure who the preferred Euro suppliers are. I see Dalbani has them in GR: http://www.dalbani.com/CGI-BIN/LANSAWEB?WEBEVENT+L062A634E589221006B28003+M36+ENG
  12. Let me see what I have laying around... I don't know what shipping would be like, but Mouser has the Fairchild version of these for 7 cents apiece, or 3.7 cents in 100. Unfortunately, they don't have the GR grade in the C1815 NPN. http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Fairchild-Semiconductor/KSA1015YTA/?qs=ljbEvF4DwONgdKizIuxI5UKMGOiR5dCFrGZORl6qhPg%3d http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Fairchild-Semiconductor/KSC1815YTA/?qs=ljbEvF4DwOPz7O2KUMOsr34RMcYiO0wN MCM has them for 5 cents: http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/2SA1015 http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/2SC1815
  13. The picture looks fine (from what I remember). For $3, you aren't risking much. Test them for sure.

  18. RIP. Yep, watched a lot of McHale's Navy, as well as Airwolf. I thought he was great in the Bruce Willis movie not that long ago (name escapes me) as well.
