Press a book or something between your legs, standing straight up, bare or stocking feet. Measure top of book to the floor.

Yeah, I would agree. I an 5'8" with a 30" inseam (can't remember my cycling inseam) and a 53/54 is what I should ride. My RRA is a 22 1/2" C-T, but fits me fine. You should be on a minimum of a 56. You would be very cramped on a 53 or 54. Your reach measurement and top tube length (or effective length) is more important though.

I've got a motorized one (Alps RK27) kicking around that I don't have plans for. I'll have to see if it is 50K or what though. Let me know.

Time Warner Cable Backhanded Price Hike.
What is your TW cable modem (w/phone)? An Arris something or other? That is why I haven't bought my own modem yet, because Comcast says they can't guarantee future compatibility if you have voice. If it is internet only, then they have an approved list and you can go ahead and buy your own.

Time Warner Cable Backhanded Price Hike.
Yes, Comcast has always charged for that. If we didn't have Comcast voice as well, I would also just buy my own modem. It does seem sleazy to just all of a sudden start charging for it. Too bad consumers can't just modify their acceptance terms anytime they feel like it as the providers seem to like to do....

Those look nice Jim! I was on a mission when I bought my Sidis (my brother had some), but would agree that they are priced rather insanely. Though I think that about most bike stuff (bikes, components, apparel) these days. Must be getting old. Now, get off my lawn!

Chris, I'll admit I'm no expert on bike fit and geometry, but your 1st 3 bullets referencing the ground confuse me a bit. You have no control over BB height from ground, and the chances of it matching from one frame to the next, particularly with different builders, would seem slim? If everything measurement-wise matches in relation to the BB (i.e., your last 3 bullets), shouldn't you be good? The standover height may differ, but shouldn't be much of a concern unless it is ridiculous. My Raleigh has always been "tight" down there, but has never been a issue.

Mike: Here's a bike for you... don't remember your size but I think this is close. You could be riding Chris' (DH) bike's father (or grandfather) http://forums.thepaceline.net/showthread.php?t=118691&highlight=lemond

Metrum Acoustics Octave: A NOS digital filter-less DAC
Sorry for late response (and I haven't seen Craig around here for awhile). There are no true 75 ohm RCAs. The WBT supposedly get close but only if you use the matching socket. As far as adapters go, you will have an impedance mismatch when it goes from BNC to RCA as Craig mentioned when testing on his TDR (time domain reflectometer).

And now what did you do TODAY?
Sorry to hear about the ankle Vicki... bad way to get that IMHO. When is your ride, next weekend? While not looking likely, I hope you can make it, and do heal up quickly!
