Depending on the goals of this prototyping effort (i.e. Doug's approval), I'd be willing to build a second for a Head-Caser.

those didn't exist then unfortunately.. cardas maggie pins and aftermarket jumpers were the only upgrade available

FWIW, one of the best tweaks I found when I owned Maggies was placing a ficas tree roughly behind them. For example, if they sounded best 4-5' x 3-4' as you mentioned, stick the ficas in the corner.

I did a small restoration on a Suck It ALO original amplifier. Sounds fantastic Also, packed about 50 boxes.

you'll want a custom curve attenuator most likely. Nothing off the shelf will work. Also, get the gain as low as you can and have the amp still be stable. That being said, I wouldn't do it.

Doug: I have just done this in fact, and used it to calibrate a LNMP. My source is 1.99 V balanced and 1.99 V single ended. -

with only one instance of said capitalization scheme, we cannot tell if it was random or not. Even with unlimited instances, we still cannot be certain if it is random or not. silver sounds better.
