Just a quick update for those of you experiencing problems with signal lock when powering up the OMZ. Ori has resolved this issue in his 4.1 OMZ. According to Ori..."This circuit was updated in the development of the DAC/PRE unit and I decided to implement the same change for the basic model." Contact Ori for the details. I don't plan to have my OMZ updated because I don't find it a problem since I leave it on all the time. And, I don't think I can live without it for even a couple days.

Wow...$140 is a good haul for stock K501s. I sold a K501 a couple weeks ago with K701 pads for $130 IIRC. It went pretty quick so I'm sure my price was too low. I also sold a Sextett in the same listing for $125. It was in great shape and I had just replaced the elastics. Again, I probably priced that too low. I feel so damn guilty if I make a profit on something, so I usually just try to break even.

Just finished some homemade Mexican food. I had a smothered burrito with my habanero green chile. You break into a sweat when the fork gets within 6 inches of your mouth! Love that hot food!!!

Lawry's Seasoned Salt is pretty good on popcorn...but it has to be whole kernels popped in hot oil. Good stuff!

I usually see thin crust pizzas cut this way, but not hand tossed dough. As for the pepper flakes, that's usually how much I put on my pizza.

I too have this problem with my OMZ v4 which I just bought brand new from Ori a couple weeks ago. I have my computer hooked up via optical and my CDP via digital coax. Since most of my music is on my computer, I simply leave the OMZ on all the time and have never had to cycle the power switch to get a signal lock even after turning my computer off which I do nightly. I was a little annoyed at first, but I'm over it. I really do enjoy this DAC.

Ouch! Then I'd have to take 'em to the goddamn hospital...not worth the hassle. I need a good deadbolt on the door. That should keep the little shits...I mean cherubs...out of my area.

10 feet is good for me. If it's any longer, then my kids will inevitably get wrapped up in it while chasing each other in my listening area.
