  1. Twice the ugly? Besides, they said bigger and better is coming.
  2. Dan has been so gracious as to buy me a ticket and room since I am poor an unemployed. Thanks Dan.
  3. Yes I am looking at one now that has been soldered. I have had that happen once on a Neutrik a few years back when I heated it too much... seemed to come loose and the tip would rotate. I am not saying you are full of crap but it does sound as if there are perhaps some QC issues or a bad lot floating around out there.
  4. Reks is correct... what I intended to say was "So many smeggys..."
  5. I have 3 sitting here right now... the answer is no on all three... I would like to not on a sorta related topic that I have received what I believe to be either old or fake Vampire products in the past. I have had some that have a mate black finish and some with a gloss black... the gloss black ones have a lot lower tolerances ie. they like to melt very easily.
  6. Ive worked with a dozen or so of the 1/4" Furutech plugs and have never had an issue. I wouldn't say the plug itself is any better quality than the Neutriks but it sure looks much cooler!
  7. Now the cables will use custom Cardas connectors... I think that warrants a premium price... they certainly aren't stock anymore
  8. The Neotech wire is quite nice. Looks good Nate. The Apex wire I had made is a close cousin to the Neotech stuff. Sadly I found out today that it wont fit the Cardas plugs without me modifying the opening to make them a bit larger
  9. How grippy is said wallet? Looks to me like it would be rather hard to get out of a pocket if it is rubbery like it looks.

    Burning Amp!

I must say I was expecting something a bit different based on the title.... something having to do with Rudistor or RSA perhaps.
  11. I think www.enigma-audio.com has some fine cables
  12. It has black blacks and sound very balanced.
  13. AudiogoN ForSale: Bohlender Graebener Radia X3 These are some very good speakers... especially for the asking price. I can't honestly think of anything better for the price.
  14. I would buy that amp again in a heart beat. Very few amps I would otherwise own.
  15. I sold it to 88Sound on headfi (local guy) then was going to buy it back recently but he sold it before I could.
  16. Sure. I will waive the idiot tax for all headcase members.
  17. Redco Audio is a great site. They sell components and custom cables built to your specs.
  18. Not with my cables apparently.
  19. Perhaps your leprechauns can lead you to SP instead.
  20. That would be the expensive sauce.
  21. Lets just assume it is. Get the cheaper ones know they are the same and be perfectly content
  22. I still personally use the same cables you do. My offerings are a result of people asking for it and saying things like "Well so and so has cryoed up super fantastic wires and such... why don't you offer such things? So and so's are clearly better...." So that is why you see some of the products you do. As to why the litz braid for the ICs. That is simply because I am currently using the same wire that is used in the headphone cables. Not until I find it worthwhile will go have it made into a cable instead of using the wire from the other. Either way that wont change much of anything other than appearance to a minimal effect. Lastly, I am not going to make up unfounded biased marketing BS like every other site. I could tell you how they cure cancer and aids or how they help you catch leprechauns but I will leave that up to you to decide on your own. I am just going to give you the cold hard facts. I wish your $100 was still that... costs of raw materials have gone way up as has shipping.
  23. I have used IBM now more recently Lenovo for years and all I can say is I have had little to no issues over the years from IBM.... aside from a wrong configuration with Lenovo everything has worked just fine.
  24. The Denon carts are very nice. They seem to be especially forgiving for tables that are less then perfect. The Shures are much the same.
