Called a watchmaker to find out why a watch I bought last week had not shipped and ended up getting talked into buying another one so the first one has company while it waits to be shipped. Also got another 4 watch winder as I decided I had far to much uncovered surface area in my room.

AH, I do have that. It seems like it was better when I could just move the iLok between computers.

Okay Amarra 2.2 is out and it no longer uses the iLok thingee. Unfortunately it asks you for an activation code and says if you bought it recently they would e-mail it to you but if you have had it you are supposed to use your serial number. I cannot find a serial number on my old version of Amarra. Does anyone know where it is?

Yeah I have had no issues with the regular shipping. I almost always get my 2-day shipments in one day. The same day contracted delivery is the only one that I have had issues with.

It is funny. All of the same day stuff here in NYC is driven out from Pennsylvania across some distance. I am not sure how they can afford it.

The same day delivery service here has only worked once in the 8-10 times I have tried it. Though the 3.99 same day delivery is always very tempting.

Unfortunately all the work I have been doing has cut into my watch purchasing. Took the day off after a morning appointment and picked up a watch in the city and bought some others on the Interweb. Got this guy. and bought a Doxa 5000 and a Kobold SS. My collection of everyday wear watches is getting very diver heavy. Now I need some more pilots.
