While it may be true for Dan, it may not be true for Yumi. It all depends on the requirements and priorities. It certainly isn't true for me. But other requirements may come into play for Shelly, so I'm not saying that to negate what Dan says, just offering another opinion/data point.

First of all, kudos to you for encouraging her. Does she play the Casio? To a pianist, it’s all about feel. To be honest, the Clavinova sounds like an upgrade, but Sweetwater have a fantastic return policy, so if you want to combine surprise with actually satisfying her desires, get her one and tell her the other is an option. If you’re not going to surprise her, then by all means, get her to try them out. Subtitles -- I forget why that's important? Unholy carp the opening to episodes s01e15 (the one with just a closeup of Greta's face -- so intense) and s01e16 (the episode immediately following ...) I have taken to saying, "gut", in real life.

Kate Bush, Aerial — probably my least listened to Kate Bush album, so can’t comment on the remaster, but musically a lot better than I remember.

I actually don’t remember the show that well. I was more of a McHale’s Navy and whatever that one was with Jim Nabors. And The Wild Wild West. And Ultraman. And Space 1999. Some of those purple-haired chicks were hawt! BTW, did I ever mention...? I found out CGAW was close to my age (within a year or two), so...wasn't lusting after someone who's ridiculously younger than I was. Yay me, not a pedophile!
