  1. pink butcher paper Now everyone can be a fairy! Alright, maybe it takes a little more skill than that, but someone who already has that skill can be elevated to fairy status.
  2. Listening to this and his back catalogue on Tidal— melikey, thanks for the intro.
  3. Spicy garlic chicken pizza
  4. Deepest condolences to you (both you and Bonnie).
  5. That's not exclusive to iPhones -- that's what happened to my Samsung a couple months ago. I think my phone was hacked.
  6. Yeah, I like smooth, pleasant, unoffensive, so will give it a try. Thanks!
  7. Actually, that's nowhere near Lancaster, PA. Zoom out on the map, it's in the middle of nowhere Southwest of DC by a bit. Also, kidding, because I'm not 12. I might've been last night, though. 0.12% BAC, that is. Alright, nowhere near, but I regress when inebriated.
  8. I should probably update the iTouch, see how it does.
  9. Charlie Cawood, bassist behind Knifeworld, The Divine Abstract -- egad, after My Tricksy Spirit and Bent Knee's new one, Land Animal, I'm a very happy boy. Is very World-y. stream it here
  10. Fuck it, I'm moving. https://www.google.com/maps/place/New+Erection,+Central,+VA+22802/@38.473734,-78.9363048,15z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x89b4eca7ea5ba603:0x9a3bb69377179606!8m2!3d38.4737348!4d-78.9275286
  11. Oh, man, he didn't put it up on Bandcamp, so I missed it, thanks for the heads-up, will order from Amazon post-haste.
  12. I like Elijah Craig, but not sure I'm ready to go to the $130 or $200 mark yet. Also, when I drank beer, my favourite beers were from Colorado -- I think it was the water. Well, I just saw a Colorado whisky, Stranahan's -- any good? I also saw a honey rye -- any good?
  13. This wonderful performance of Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor
  14. They're probably just using an old photograph.
  15. Well, no, that's not what I meant, and I'm as quickly annoyed by that when I hear a channel drop, I usually pick up on it within seconds. Try listening to the beginning of Fairies Wear Boots with only the left or right channel, it's a completely different song. I know on my old Pioneer receivers, some of them have a mono button that just sums the two channels, and I know it's a rarity, but they still show up now and then. But sounds like you already have most of it in place, so that was just to clarify. Have you already sorted the short problem? I presume you did.
  16. New Taylor Swift is not old Taylor Swift. I need a high-res screencap of that sneer
  17. So how married is your friend to the idea of stereo? Perhaps just run the center/summing channel and one speaker in each of the outboard rooms? I know some amps come with a mono switch. When I use speakers, I only ever hear stereo when I’m in the sweet spot. When I’m in the next room or other end of the room, mono would be good enough. The only other thing I can think of is, get rid of the autoformers and use the two leads for the hot part of stereo, implement a truly single ended solution and use the house ground for both channels’ return/ground. Maybe you can use the autoformers to protect the inputs and prevent crosstalk. One more silly idea — use a broadcast codec, but you’d need two per, one each side.
  18. Yeah, me too. I need an animated gif of the girl with her mouth open at 32:24 of the first episode (of the second season) -- I must've rewound that scene about 5 times until I could stop laughing enough to continue.
  19. Game of Thrones spoiler:
  20. This would be my recommendation, except maybe network instead.
