  1. Or you could just start stating your age in hex...0x29? Although you don't look a day over 0x27.
  2. That's what Fortran is for.
  3. Unholy carp, you did all that in that short a time...?!?!?
  4. Maybe, it's certainly listenable. Played Tomita's Kosmos earlier, because that was the only thing Tidal had, now listening to Bloc Party's Hymns. OK Computer is 'on deck'.
  5. Yeah, he's the reason I love Grofé's Canyon Suite, and his early stuff was very influential on how I hear synthesizer tonalities/timbres -- very unorthodox in places, yet he makes it work, musically.
  6. I didn't think it sucked, but it's certainly the least experimental of their releases. So, not so much breath-taking, as I-won't-hold-my-breath. Going to go back and listen to OK Computer.

  8. Thanks for your Google-fu, Graham, I was too lazy to look. The reason image-search came up blank is because an imaginary friend* of mine who went to the show took the picture, and took it at an angle to downplay its anthropomorphic qualities, I suspect on purpose. Yeah, you should, speakers are cool. Not as nice as headphones, but they're useful when you don't want to be tethered, or are moving around a lot, or have wet hair, or are dirty, or... *Imaginary friend == anyone I've met online, but not necessarily in real life... ...wait, does that mean Jacob is my imaginary friend?
  9. ...and some non-speaker porn, also from the recently passed Munich show: I don't even know what this is:

I realize others may have seen these before, but I'm watching them for the first time, and I'm wondering if all their videos are this awesome:
  14. Happy birthday! (party favour noise)
  15. Neurosis, Eye of Every Storm -- goddamn, I love this album. Post-metal

The second author only ever discussed what happens on the primary Mac. He implies some of the things that happen on secondary devices -- including a second Mac -- but if you read carefully, nothing he says rules out what happened to the first author. By all means, I agree with you that the first author shouldn't have installed Apple Music on his DAW without being intimately familiar with all the ramifications of doing so, I certainly wouldn't. But the second author is obviously just an Apple fan, trying to reassure people without actually saying anything. Personally, people like that just make me more wary.

I am not reassured by that article at all. They "suspect"? To me, it seems obvious that this was the first author's secondary Mac, the primary being the music server, the secondary being his DAW (digital audio workstation). Sounds like the second author didn't do his due diligence before publishing his article.

It's 'sauna', not boiling. And...ooh, pretty colours. I like Le Creuset, but aren't they still overpriced at more than half off?
